Hello!

My name is Fia Sutton and I am an illustrator based in Western Mass.

I work with acrylic collages, mixed media, and watercolors. My work is colorful, textured, and inspired by nature and my travels. During my 9-5, I work as a front end software engineer. Someday, I hope to merge my illustration with code.

I am always excited to meet new people and am looking for projects. Please feel free to reach out and introduce yourself!

A Bit About Myself

When my little sister was young she could not pronounce the 'S' in my first name, but rather she called me Fia. This nickname has always been a pleasant reminder of my sister, and was one of the first lasting gifts a child gave me. Now, I hope to create lasting memories for children and families through my illustrations and stories.

I grew up in the woods of New Hampshire before receiving my BFA in painting from Boston University (MA, 2011) and my MFA in Fine Arts from Newcastle University (UK, 2015). After traveling around the UK, Maine, Spain, and Brooklyn I recently landed in Western Massachusetts. Halsey (that little bud below), his sister Coyote River, my partner and I just set up shop in the winter of 2021, in Gill where we are exploring collage and the local insect life.
